CogniCor Launches New Advisory Board as RIAs Look for More From AI Providers

Just weeks after CogniCor appointed Shannon Eusey, Chairman and Co-Founder of Beacon Pointe Advisors, to its Advisory Board, the Palo Alto-based intelligence and orchestration platform for RIAs and wealth management enterprises announced the further expansion of this Board.
The company said in a release that bringing together executives with experience across the RIA and wealth management industry as well as experts who have developed and commercialized wealth technology and invested in financial technology creates a board that can focus on helping CogniCor address the growing demand for AI-enabled expansion among growing RIAs.
CogniCor supports multi-advisor firms managing $2 billion or more in assets by unifying disparate data, aggregating intelligence across systems and orchestrating next-best actions for clients and advisors.
"AI in wealth management is quickly moving beyond meeting notes and individual productivity tools," said Dr. Sindhu Joseph, CEO and Co-Founder of CogniCor. "The next opportunity is much larger: bringing together intelligence across the entire household, the advisor's book and the firm and using it to drive advisor capacity, deeper client relationships and organic growth.”
A Board Focused on RIA Growth
The firm explained that it built this Advisory Board to provide perspective on all aspects of the wealth management industry, and in particular for growing RIAs.
The Board is comprised of seven members:
- Shannon Eusey, Chairman and Co-Founder, Beacon Pointe Advisors
- Matthew Incitti, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Hamilton Point Investments
- Louis Diamond, CEO, Diamond Consultants
- Allison Couch Pratt, Founder and President, Anchor Point Strategies
- Jim Roth, Partner, Ascentix Partners
- Douglas Wilber, Operating Partner, SixThirty Ventures
- Joseph Kuo, CEO and Founder of Haven Tower, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Ascentix Partners
"We have deliberately brought together leaders who understand this opportunity from very different vantage points: building and scaling RIAs, advising industry leaders, creating and commercializing technology and driving strategic growth,” said Joseph. “Their collective perspective will be invaluable as we scale CogniCor and help define what the next generation of wealth management technology looks like."
A New Phase of AI Application
CogniCor suggests that the wealth management industry's use of AI is entering a new phase, shifting from productivity to firm-wide intelligence.
While early adoption largely centered on point solutions, like note takers and form completing tools, designed to automate individual advisor tasks, the industry will look to connect intelligence across the advisor's entire book of business and the enterprise in the future.
This approach is central to CogniCor’s offering and is already demonstrating the impact of this with leading RIAs.
Earlier this year, CogniCor and Plancorp Wealth Management published a case study that explored the impact of CogniCor’s Advisor Copilot on the St. Louis-based RIAs client-facing employees. During the 28-day study, the firm found that the platform “liberated” more than 700 hours of advisor and staff capacity across 17 efficiency measures, including meeting preparation, follow-up and identification of client service opportunities.
The expanded Advisory Board will work with CogniCor's leadership team as the company deepens its presence across the RIA market, expands strategic industry relationships and continues to develop the intelligence infrastructure required for AI-native wealth management.
