WHEATON, IL – November 3, 2026 – Forms Logic, a cloud-based technology provider helping financial services firms automate data, documentation and compliance workflows, today announced a collaboration with Orion, a leading wealthtech platform for financial advisors, introducing a new capability to support streamlined transitions for Orion’s advisor clients.
Orion will leverage components of Forms Logic’s Migrator solution, which provides advisors and transition teams with a more standardized process and additional safeguards as they move books of business onto the Orion platform. The technology is designed to reduce administrative friction, help transition teams manage activity at scale and allow advisors to spend less time on operational tasks and more time communicating with clients, addressing questions and maintaining continuity throughout the move.
As advisor movement accelerates across the industry, firms are increasingly looking for solutions to help execute transitions with greater speed, accuracy and scalability. Migrator organizes transition data, identifies and pre-populates required paperwork, automates workflows and provides real-time visibility into progress, reducing the manual work required to move accounts to a new platform.
“Advisor transitions are among the most operationally complex events in wealth management, often involving thousands of accounts, multiple custodians and extensive documentation,” said Rick Burgess, CEO at Forms Logic. “Our work with Orion demonstrates how the right technology embedded into a large-scale wealth technology ecosystem can automate much of the operational heavy lifting and create a much more efficient experience. We’re excited to bring Migrator’s capabilities to Orion’s technology stack and help create a more efficient and consistent transition experience for advisors and the teams supporting them.”
Migrator supports the full transition lifecycle, from initial data collection through paperwork preparation, signing and submission. The solution follows a six-step process: advisor introduction, contract completion, data capture, workflow creation, affiliation day and transition execution, providing advisors and support teams with a structured workflow throughout the transition.
“Technology should remove complexity from the advisor experience and bring greater consistency and visibility to what has historically been a complex and stressful process,” said Arun Anur, chief operating officer at Orion. “The Migrator solution allows teams to better manage transition workflows while reducing administrative friction for advisors. By streamlining the onboarding process, advisors can spend more time supporting client relationships and integrating into their new firm.”
This effort comes amid continued competition for advisor talent across the wealth management industry, increasing pressure on firms to make recruiting, onboarding and transitions more scalable. As advisors move between firms, the ability to execute transitions efficiently can help minimize business disruption, maintain client continuity and create a stronger onboarding experience.
In addition to Migrator, Forms Logic offers Navigator, a wealth management platform that automates client onboarding and helps reduce not-in-good-order (NIGO) issues by incorporating forms into intelligent, digital and compliant workflows. Together, the solutions help wealth management firms automate documentation-intensive processes across a range of client and account transactions, from account opening to managing data across systems and more.
