The biggest announcement, per FinSMEs, came from Cambridge, Mass.-based Cambridge Mobile Telematics, which raised $350 million in "strategic" funding to "scale its global road safety platform, advance its DriveWell Atlas AI models for real-time crash detection and risk assessment, and accelerate the adoption of its Universal Driving Score," according to the announcement. Cambridge Mobile Telematics operates a road-safety platform using data from smartphones, devices and connected vehicles. Our second-place announcement was from Dallas-based healthcare data platform provider Verily, which raised a $300 million round to "advance the next phase of its precision health AI strategy," according to its announcement.
