If we think we're going to be able to avoid artificial intelligence, we may want to think again.
There are quite a few very vocal people out there on social media who insist that they are going to strive to avoid any use of or association with AI, and it's unlikely that they're going to be very successful.
Welcome to AI & Finance, where we have a ton of financial artificial intelligence news to run through, but first, we're going to have a word on would-be AI avoiders or boycotters: You're engaging in an exercise in futility.

How did we get on this topic? In our other headlines column, Advisor Tech Talk, we described a conversation with our father, who assumes his finances were free from cybersecurity risk because he had never signed on to a brokerage or bank portal or conducted any of his financial affairs via a computer, completely neglecting to account for all of the financial institutions and professionals using computers on his behalf. We should mention that dad is an exceedingly intelligent, curious and well-educated retired attorney who clearly didn't think this issue all the way through.
We have the benefits of (relative) youth and experience. We spent part of our early journalism career in an area populated by one of the most conservative Amish communities in the United States, the Swartzentruber Amish, who had settled in upstate New York and were thriving there as dairy farmers while abstaining from the use of electricity, telephones, motor vehicles—even indoor plumbing.
Yet to continue to do business as dairy farmers, these communities had struck up deals with the large dairy operations in that part of the country, like Cabot, to refrigerate and transport their milk by truck. Though they have strived to avoid the trappings of modern technology, they have still come to depend on it.
Which is part of the reason why attempts to avoid AI in our lives, not to mention business and finance, strike us as laughable.
AI is already remarkably widespread. Search engines use machine learning to rank results, email providers employ automated systems to detect spam, smartphones incorporate computational photography and predictive text, and online retailers use recommendation algorithms to anticipate purchases. Navigation applications estimate traffic conditions, streaming services recommend entertainment, and digital advertising networks continuously evaluate consumer behavior. Not every automated process qualifies as artificial intelligence, and the boundary between conventional software and AI can be blurry. Nevertheless, avoiding direct interaction with generative AI does not eliminate exposure to the broader universe of machine learning.
The business environment presents even greater challenges. Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Salesforce and other enterprise technology providers have integrated AI into applications used for communications, productivity, analytics, marketing and customer relationship management. Even companies that refuse to deploy generative AI internally may depend on cloud providers, payment processors, logistics companies and software vendors that use it. Employees may also introduce unauthorized AI applications through so-called shadow AI, creating security and governance problems for organizations that believe they have prohibited the technology. An ostensibly AI-free business might discover that its suppliers, accountants, advertising platforms and cybersecurity vendors all rely on machine learning.
The financial services industry is particularly inhospitable to complete AI avoidance. Banks and payment networks employ machine learning for fraud detection, transaction monitoring and cybersecurity. Insurers use predictive analytics in underwriting, claims processing and pricing. Lenders incorporate statistical and machine-learning models into credit decisions, while investment managers use algorithms for research, trading, risk management and portfolio construction. Financial institutions increasingly deploy AI for regulatory compliance, customer service, document processing and financial planning. Although conventional algorithms and machine-learning systems are not interchangeable, both have become integral to financial infrastructure.
Ultimately, the meaningful question may not be whether artificial intelligence can be eliminated from our lives, but whether people retain meaningful control over where, when and how it is used.
Elsewhere this week, a Pacific Life survey found that 43% of financial professionals surveyed said clients were using AI to validate or challenge financial recommendations, while 42% identified AI tools and digital assistants as clients' leading sources of independent financial research before engaging with an advisor. The findings suggest that generative AI is becoming a second opinion in the financial planning relationship, introducing a new participant into conversations traditionally conducted between clients and their advisors.
The Pacific Life findings are particularly noteworthy because they suggest that AI adoption is changing not just how advisors work, but how clients perceive professional expertise. Among the 113 financial professionals surveyed during the insurer's September Educational Symposium, 21% reported clients introducing inaccurate or misleading AI-generated information into discussions, while 15% said clients were arriving with more sophisticated questions and research. Younger investors are also changing expectations: 28% of respondents said Millennial and Generation Z clients expect faster, more digital engagement, and 26% said younger clients increasingly use AI or other digital tools to evaluate advice. Although the survey represents a relatively small, specialized sample rather than the entire advisory industry, its implications are substantial. Advisors must increasingly explain not only why their recommendations are appropriate, but why their judgment deserves greater confidence than an alternative generated by a chatbot.
Let’s get to your headlines...
Advyzon
Advyzon, a global AI-powered, unified wealth management technology and data platform for advisory firms, today announced the launch of Advyzon Financial Planning, a comprehensive cash-flow planning and projection solution built natively into the Advyzon platform.
Led by Kevin Hughes, President of Financial Planning at Advyzon, whose nearly two decades of experience have helped shape financial planning technology, the solution combines deep planning expertise with Advyzon’s unified architecture and agentic AI capabilities.
Designed for deep planning without unnecessary operational complexity, Advyzon Financial Planning combines robust calculation engines with the client, household, account, portfolio, net worth, and budget data already in Advyzon. Advisors can model financial decisions – including Social Security timing, Roth conversions, portfolio optimization, and changing planning strategies – without rebuilding the client in a separate system or maintaining another version of the data.
Allooloo Technologies
Allooloo Technologies Corp. today launched the zones of record for financial services: adjunct agentic datasets, products and services built for the artificial intelligence (AI) agents banks and dealers are adding to every desk. The first two zones are live — Know Your Product, every listed issuer in eleven countries, nightly; and News, every filing and release, read the night it lands.
For a century the capital markets ran on people reading: the analyst with the filing, the adviser with the product note, the compliance officer with the source. That reader is leaving the desk. JPMorgan Chase says AI has already taken 30 to 40 percent of headcount in some units; HSBC is weighing 20,000 roles and up to 70 percent of its UK financial advisers. The work stays. It is done by agents now — and every desk that moves to agents builds more of them. The fastest-growing population in finance is not people. It is agents that need to read before they act.
A zone duplicates nothing a firm already pays for. The terminal seats, the market data, the feeds stay exactly where they are. A zone is the adjunct — the specialist dataset the terminal was never built to serve, for the agents a firm is adding, not the people it already equipped. Nothing is replaced. Nothing is re-licensed. A new population of users gets its own data.
Aprio
Aprio, the 20th largest business advisory and accounting firm in the U.S. today announced the next phase of a strategic partnership with Intuit, the global financial technology platform that makes TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Intuit Enterprise Suite and Intuit Accountant Suite. The deepening partnership is designed to accelerate innovation across the accounting profession and help shape the future of AI-powered advisory and accounting services for mid-market businesses.
Aprio and Intuit will work together to develop AI-powered solutions designed to help identify tax planning opportunities, benchmark business performance, improve financial visibility, and support more informed decision-making across industries including construction, dental, wealth management and tax. Aprio's subject matter specialists will work alongside Intuit's product, engineering, and AI teams to turn real-world client needs into industry-specific capabilities that deliver greater visibility into business performance and enable more opportunities for advisors to focus on strategic guidance.
The partnership supports both organizations' commitment to innovation and the responsible application of artificial intelligence. By combining advanced technologies with deep advisory capabilities, Aprio and Intuit aim to help accelerate the evolution of accounting and advisory services and create new value across the business lifecycle. The collaboration builds on the strategic partnership announced in October 2025, when Aprio became Intuit's first advisory and accounting firm partner focused on accelerating mid-market business growth with client implementations of Intuit Enterprise Suite, Intuit's AI-native ERP for modern finance teams. This next phase expands the relationship beyond technology implementation to include AI innovation, industry-focused solutions, and new ways to help clients grow.
Archera
As artificial intelligence makes cloud spending harder to predict, companies face an increasingly expensive choice: commit to long-term cloud and AI contracts to unlock significant discounts or preserve flexibility and leave savings on the table. Archera has raised a $15 million Series C to expand its Guaranteed Commitments and change that equation.
The cloud economics company today announced it closed its Series C funding round, led by Pivot Investment Partners, with participation from existing investors including HighSage Ventures. The financing brings Archera's total funding to $38.3 million. It will support the expansion of Archera's Guaranteed Commitments and its suite of free cloud cost tools, including its FinOps Agent and MCP.
Insurance-backed financial protection is central to Archera's next phase of growth. Archera purchased a policy on a surplus lines basis from Crum & Forster Specialty Insurance Company to back its guarantee. This model helps businesses pursue cloud commitment savings while managing the financial risk of usage changes.
Bloomberg
Bloomberg today introduced BQuant Assistant, a domain-grounded conversational AI coding assistant built into BQuant Desktop and BQuant Enterprise. Integrated within the BQuant development environment, BQuant Assistant gives financial professionals who are Bloomberg Terminal subscribers the ability to use natural-language prompts to write code, build dynamic applications, and accelerate financial data analysis workflows.
BQuant Assistant brings conversational AI directly into the same Python environment where users build investment strategies, dashboards, and quantitative financial analyses. BQuant Assistant can answer customers' questions about BQuant, generate Python code, assist with querying Bloomberg's vast datasets via Bloomberg Query Language (BQL), help users debug and iterate on their work, and build code for data visualizations. BQuant Assistant can also search the BQuant Help Center and draw from relevant example notebooks, libraries, and how-to guides when answering your questions. This grounding in the BQuant environment enables BQuant Assistant to generate context-aware responses about your projects, workflows and code, thereby providing more relevant support for financial data analysis than a general-purpose coding assistant.
BQuant Assistant can also respond with code suggestions and, subject to the user's approval, insert and run code directly in their active project within the secure BQuant sandbox, so users can quickly move from question to result without switching context. Users retain full control over these actions because BQuant Assistant identifies the action it proposes and requests approval before reading from or writing to a notebook.
Capgemini
Capgemini today announced that it has been selected by the UK’s Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) as strategic technology partner.
Capgemini will provide expertise and innovation to support FSCS’s technology and operational priorities, accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies while maintaining operational continuity and high-quality outcomes for their customers and levy payers.
FSCS protects customers when UK-authorised financial services firms fail. It is an independent, free-to-use service that gives people confidence by protecting their savings, investments and insurance policies with customers keeping 100% of the compensation when claiming with FSCS directly.
Conquest
Conquest, a global fintech company delivering a verifiable AI financial advice engine for continuous advice at scale, today announced it is bringing a new connector to Claude for Financial Advisors, Anthropic’s offering for wealth management professionals. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, Conquest enables financial advisors to access its financial intelligence directly within Claude, helping to streamline workflows and deliver more personalized, actionable advice.
New research from Financial Planning and Conquest reveals that 72% of firms are pursuing intelligent automation and AI initiatives to improve advisor productivity[1]. Now, with this connector, instead of going to multiple apps, advisors can access live financial intelligence right within Claude.
Results are powered by Conquest’s Strategic Advice Manager® (SAM), a deterministic calculation engine and proprietary AI expert system, which users can interact with through conversations with Claude. Advisors get explainable, repeatable calculations in real-time. SAM ranks, prioritizes and verifies each strategy against best practices and jurisdictional compliance across multiple regulatory frameworks, including CRM2/CRM3 (Canada), Best Interest and DOL Fiduciary standards (U.S.), and FCA Targeted Support (UK).
Crowe
Crowe Advisory LLC, a professional services firm, is expanding how it helps tax departments operationalize artificial intelligence, combining tax expertise and AI capabilities with trusted business logic and governed automation enabled by Alteryx, the agentic analytics and automation company.
As tax departments explore AI, many are discovering that moving from experimentation to enterprise adoption requires more than AI tools alone. Organizations require business logic and governed workflows that make processes visible, understandable, repeatable and auditable. Through Alteryx's analytics and automation platform, Crowe helps organizations deploy AI in ways that are repeatable, trusted and scalable. Governed data automation provides the foundation for AI-enabled workflows that improve confidence while maintaining consistency and control.
Rather than applying AI indiscriminately, Crowe helps tax departments determine where automation, AI and human expertise each create the greatest value. Instead of treating an entire tax engagement as a single AI opportunity, Crowe breaks complex tax workflows into discrete, repeatable tasks that enable clients to modernize incrementally while maintaining governance, quality and professional judgment. Built-in validation, quality checks and traceable processes improve confidence in AI-generated outputs by helping identify potential issues before work is delivered.
Domain Money
Domain Money today announced it has added Hazel, the artificial intelligence platform built by Altruist for financial advisors and wealth managers, to its technology stack across its team of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professionals. The integration is designed to reduce administrative burden and give CFP® professionals more time for high-value planning work, reinforcing the client-first standards that have helped Domain Money maintain a 90+ NPS rating and a 4.8-star Trustpilot rating among members.
Domain Money limits the number of clients each CFP® professional works with, a standard designed to preserve the depth and personalization of its planning process as the company scales. By automating administrative work, Hazel is intended to help CFP® professionals use their time more effectively and continue to stay focused on their clients.
Earnix
Earnix, the AI company purpose-built for insurance decisioning, today announced its Q4 2026 Release, introducing new capabilities across its pricing and rating and customer engagement solutions. The enhancements simplify how insurers implement pricing changes, manage data and models, prepare regulatory filings and communicate with customers, combining improvements to existing functionality with AI and automation where they deliver meaningful operational value.
Insurers face growing pressure to respond to changing risks and market conditions while maintaining pricing discipline, regulatory compliance, and customer trust. Yet implementing pricing strategies, managing complex models, and preparing regulatory filings can require significant manual effort and cross-team coordination, delaying changes that affect business performance. Addressing these operational challenges is essential to turning analytical insights into effective decisions that can be implemented quickly and with appropriate oversight.
These enhancements in the Earnix Q4 2026 Release build on the company's established insurance decisioning capabilities, with AIOS enabling the integration of new AI-driven functionality alongside ongoing enhancements to existing solutions. Together, these innovations enable insurers to streamline operations, make more informed decisions and respond faster to changing business needs, while maintaining appropriate governance and human oversight.
Empyrean Solutions
Empyrean Solutions, a leading provider of financial risk management solutions, today announced the launch of Empyrean Operate AI for Planning, a new module designed to help financial institutions reduce the time spent investigating results, validating calculations, and navigating complex planning workflows.
Built directly into the Empyrean Planning solution, Empyrean Operate AI for Planning combines artificial intelligence with the business context already contained within an institution's planning environment, including calculations, assumptions, audit history, position data, and workflow activity. The result is faster access to information, improved transparency, and greater confidence in financial analysis.
Financial institutions face growing pressure to respond quickly to changing market conditions, evolving regulations, and increasing demands for insight. Yet planning, treasury, finance, and risk teams often spend significant time gathering information, tracing calculations, validating outputs, and answering questions about how results were produced.
Euna Solutions
Euna Solutions®, a leading provider of purpose-built, cloud-based solutions for the public sector, today announced that Franklin University, a private nonprofit institution in Ohio, is using Euna Marketplace to centralize approximately 100 separate vendor accounts, while ensuring compliant catalog purchasing across the university. Consolidating vendor accounts into one platform with a pre-approved purchasing catalog has helped Franklin University reduce administrative work, gain clearer visibility into spending, and redirect staff time toward higher-value priorities.
Part of Euna Solutions’ full-cycle financial suite, Euna Marketplace is a purchasing module within Euna Procurement that brings approved suppliers and contracts into one centralized platform. It helps organizations simplify everyday purchasing, maintain compliance and spending oversight, and give staff an easier way to find and purchase the goods and services they need.
Before Euna Marketplace, Franklin University’s purchasing team spent significant time managing routine transactions and vendor-specific processes across dozens of disconnected ordering systems. This fragmented approach increased administrative workload, complicated coordination of campus delivery, and limited the time procurement staff could devote to higher-value purchasing activities.
FINNY AI
FINNY AI Inc. (“FINNY”), the AI growth engine for financial advisors, today launched its Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector for Claude for Financial Advisors, Anthropic's suite of tools to help with research, preparation and documentation tasks. The launch brings FINNY's AI-powered growth intelligence and prospecting tools directly into Claude, enabling advisors to access campaign insights, manage prospect data and leverage FINNY's resources within existing AI workflows.
As financial advisors increasingly adopt AI to improve operational efficiency and enhance client service, Claude provides an easy access point. FINNY's MCP launch builds on this shift, adding its growth intelligence where advisors are already working, and removing the need to toggle between platforms.
FINNY's platform combines a proprietary database comprising millions of records with its predictive F-Score matching engine and automated outreach tools to help advisors identify, prioritize and engage high-intent wealth management prospects. Through the MCP connector, advisors can access FINNY's data and tools directly within Claude to support key activities
FINNY AI
FINNY AI Inc. (“FINNY”), the AI-powered growth platform built specifically for financial advisors, and Visionary Square, a leading hybrid RIA, today announced a partnership designed to help financial advisors identify new business opportunities and accelerate organic growth.
Visionary Square supports more than 250 advisors from 140 partner firms nationwide, providing resources across technology, compliance, operations, marketing and practice management. Through its partnership with FINNY, Visionary Square is covering subscription costs for its partner firms, giving advisors access to AI-powered prospecting tools to identify and connect with prospective clients, grow their businesses and streamline client acquisition without adding operational complexity or expenses.
FINNY uses advanced AI and a vast amount of proprietary data to match advisors with prospects based on the niches they serve, similarity to their existing client base, and money-in-motion signals for individuals. The platform’s proprietary F-Score helps identify and prioritize individuals most likely to be a fit for a particular advisor, while personalized outreach capabilities help turn those opportunities into conversations, and conversations into new clients. Together, these capabilities give advisors a more systematic approach to business development without requiring them to manage a prospecting operation on their own.
FinTurk
FinTurk, an AI-native CRM built specifically for financial advisors, today announced the introduction of FinBox, a new AI-powered email management tool designed to streamline client communications and daily workflows for registered investment advisors (RIAs). Alongside the rollout of FinBox, FinTurk is introducing unlimited artificial intelligence (AI) usage for advisors on its Max plan, replacing the existing monthly AI credit to help firms take full advantage of the platform's automation capabilities without worrying about usage costs.
FinBox brings advisors' Microsoft 365 or Gmail inboxes directly into FinTurk, allowing them to read, search, organize and respond to emails within the same workspace where they manage clients, tasks and portfolios. By automatically connecting email conversations to the appropriate client records, FinBox eliminates the need to switch between disconnected systems and gives advisors a more complete view of each client relationship.
Built on FinTurk's native AI platform, FinBox also automates several time-consuming email management tasks. The tool can draft personalized responses using client account information, identify important messages and suggest CRM updates or follow-up tasks based on incoming communications. Advisors can also create inbox rules using plain-language instructions to automatically organize and flag messages as they arrive. With built-in safeguards and advisor oversight, all AI-generated responses and suggested actions remain subject to review and approval before execution.
FusionIQ
Enterra Solutions, LLC and FusionIQ, Inc. today announced a ten-year agreement under which Enterra Solutions’ Autonomous Decision Science Platform will power FusionIQ’s wealth management platform, giving FusionIQ’s bank, credit union, RIA and broker-dealer clients AI tools whose decisions can be explained, audited and documented for regulators. The long-term commitment comes as FusionIQ scales from approximately 400,000 accounts today towards 1.2 million accounts and $240 billion in assets under administration by the end of 2027.
The agreement is among the most significant AI platform commitments yet announced in wealth management, and it addresses the hardest constraint facing regulated financial institutions today: they cannot deploy AI they cannot explain.
Enterra is a foundational AI company with a deep lineage in AI and applied mathematics, working with some of the world’s largest enterprises. Enterra built the Autonomous Decision Science (“ADS”) Platform – a glass-box enterprise decision intelligence system. The critical decisions it produces can be decoded, audited, and explained to operators, compliance officers, and regulators. For a platform distributing wealth management technology to banks, credit unions, registered investment advisers, and broker-dealers, that transparency is not a feature – it is a necessary precondition for deploying AI.
Givebutter
At The Spread, a livestream event on Thursday, October 1, Givebutter introduced dozens of product updates. Leading the announcements was Givebutter Magic, a suite of AI features designed to make nonprofits' work easier, both within the platform and by connecting to the AI tools nonprofits already use.
Givebutter also released advanced reporting tools, a fully redesigned email editor, video messages, and more fundraising and finance features, giving nonprofits more of what they need to run their organizations, connected in one place.
The event's theme, Co-Create, reflected how feedback from nonprofit customers helped shape the new tools. Following the livestream, Givebutter and We Are For Good hosted a hackathon that invited changemakers to put their new tools to work for their own missions.
Guidewire
Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE) today launched a new platform approach to agentic insurance, giving insurers an open, secure, and complete foundation for putting AI to work across the insurance lifecycle. By bringing together the applications, data, workflows, and controls insurers need, Guidewire sets out a practical model for moving from isolated AI experiments to governed agents that improve the speed and precision of insurance decisions and actions.
Guidewire agents run on the same trusted platform as its core applications and work with an insurer's current data and workflows. For agents to work effectively, they need to know what is true, what has already been done, and what they are allowed to do. The platform's controls enforce those boundaries with consistent security and a clear audit trail that remains current and secure through ongoing updates.
The examples below represent a sample of Guidewire's growing portfolio of agents and agentic capabilities across the insurance lifecycle. Guidewire will continue to expand this portfolio, giving insurers more ways to put agents to work within the workflows and controls of the Guidewire platform.
Guidewire
Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE) announced today that it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Hyperexponential Ltd ("hyperexponential" or "hx") for a base purchase price of $1.7 billion in cash, subject to adjustments, and up to an additional $400 million in contingent consideration based on achievement of specified recurring revenue targets. hyperexponential is a London-based agentic platform provider of AI-native underwriting and pricing software for commercial lines P&C insurers. hyperexponential is an existing Guidewire PartnerConnect Technology Alliance Partner. hyperexponential brings established trust and scale in underwriting, having powered underwriting decisions across more than $75 billion in annual commercial P&C premium for leading global insurers, reinsurers, and managing general agents (MGAs). The acquisition is expected to accelerate ARR and revenue growth while remaining consistent with Guidewire's long-term margin targets.
The acquisition strengthens Guidewire's leadership in P&C technology and sets up the company to define agentic underwriting, a new approach in which AI agents work alongside underwriters and actuaries to assess risk, price it, and make decisions, from the most complex specialty risks to high-volume commercial business. Insurers will be able to respond to more submissions, faster, with pricing and risk decisions that consistently reflect their best underwriting judgment. This will enable insurers to write more profitable business, grow into new lines with confidence, and free underwriting teams to focus on the risks where their expertise matters most.
Underwriting speed and accuracy remain vital to pricing risk appropriately and maintaining portfolio resilience as P&C insurers face changing environmental, market, and regulatory conditions. AI-driven reductions in time-to-quote, among other factors, are having a significant effect on P&C insurer revenue, according to the Celent report "AI Trends Across the Insurance Value Chain: P&C Edition - North America." Celent notes that "...one industry consulting firm working with US and UK commercial P&C insurers found AI can improve underwriting efficiency significantly in complex lines and reduce loss ratios by percentage points by making use of previously unstructured data like telematics, satellite imagery, and loss history."
Hyphenate
The first wave of finance AI helped teams work faster. The next is taking responsibility for the work itself. Hyphenate, the autonomous finance platform for the office of the CFO, today announced a $45 million Series A led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from B Capital and existing investors including Foundation Capital, BoldCap and Gaia Ventures.
Inside Hyphenate customers, agents are already reconciling cash, processing sales orders, running invoicing, maintaining subledgers and moving the close forward, with finance teams stepping in only where judgment changes the outcome. The round, which brings total funding to $54 million, comes less than a month after Maximor rebranded to Hyphenate, as customers expand its use across the office of the CFO. The company will use the capital to take its agents deeper across the finance function and into strategic finance.
Hyphenate raised a $9 million seed one year ago to take repetitive work off finance teams. Since then, the company has passed multi-million-dollar ARR, its agents have taken on work across hundreds of entities, thousands of bank accounts and millions of transactions every day, and customers report 90% less repetitive finance work and 75% fewer audit exceptions. The more telling number is what customers do next: 40% expand within their first year, several by two to three times, and the average customer runs six modules.Companies are handing the system larger parts of finance once it has proved itself in one workflow.
Infosys
Infosys Finacle, part of EdgeVerve Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Infosys (NSE: INFY) (BSE: INFY) (NYSE: INFY), and UNI Financial Cooperation (UNI), a leading financial cooperative in Atlantic Canada, today announced the deployment of Finacle Universal Banker across all UNI branches. The deployment marks an important milestone in UNI's ongoing technology transformation, enabling omnichannel service continuity for members and providing a scalable foundation for continued improvements in efficiency and the member experience.

Built around a 'one banker, many roles' approach, the AI-enabled, cloud-native Finacle Universal Banker platform brings multiple branch banking functions into a more unified environment with context-rich, role-agnostic workflows.
With Finacle Universal Banker now deployed across its branch network, UNI can leverage capabilities designed to simplify branch operations and support more connected member experiences

This helps advisors work from richer client context without manually copying and pasting notes or starting each task from scratch.
Jump’s inclusion in Claude for Financial Advisors brings new purpose-built skills, reusable workflows designed to help Claude act on client context for specific advisor tasks. Developed with insight into the needs of advisors using Jump every day, the skills can help organize recent conversations, surface commitments and decisions, locate client documents and prepare follow-up communications.

Mercer Advisors
Mercer Advisors, Inc. (“Mercer Advisors”), a national wealth management and financial planning firm, today announced the appointment of Kyle Pounder, PhD, as Vice President of Data, a role focused on putting data and AI to work for its more than 460 advisors and over 43,000 clients. Pounder will lead the firm’s core data team, which underpins Aspen, the firm’s fully integrated technology platform, and its broader AI strategy.
The appointment of Pounder continues to deepen the technical leadership that Mercer Advisors has been assembling. Most recently, Cynthia Loh joined as Chief Platform Officer, a new role responsible for the processes, people and platform that anchor the firm’s client and advisor experience. Loh has spent more than two decades building and scaling advice platforms at leading organizations, including Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab, and Betterment.
Ehsan Lavassani, Founding Engineer and Chief Engineering Officer of Personal Capital, joined in September 2023 and was recently promoted to Head of Artificial Intelligence. Lavassani spearheaded the development of Aspen, the firm’s AI-enabled operating system, whose second-generation launch brought AI capabilities directly into advisor and client workflows. In his new role, he will focus on partnering with client-facing professionals across the firm to accelerate the development and deployment of AI capabilities in their practices. Lavassani and Pounder report to Loh.
Modera Wealth Management
Modera Wealth Management, a Westwood, New Jersey-based registered investment advisor overseeing approximately $20 billion in assets under advisement, announced the launch of Mira, a proprietary agentic artificial intelligence platform designed to streamline advisor workflows, unify client information and support personalized financial advice, on October 21, 2026. Developed over two years under the leadership of Modera President Joe McCuine and the firm's internal technology team, Mira integrates information from existing wealth management applications and document management systems into a centralized, AI-enabled operating environment. The platform creates a household-level system of record, allowing advisors to access comprehensive client information, generate business insights and reduce the administrative burden of navigating disconnected software applications. Mira has been available internally since July 2026. Modera, which serves more than 6,300 clients nationwide, says the technology will help its professionals spend more time developing client relationships and delivering customized financial planning and investment services.
To power Mira's agentic AI capabilities, Modera partnered with OnTrade, an AI-native technology provider specializing in wealth management operations. The companies are developing autonomous digital agents capable of assisting with financial planning, client proposals, investment research, risk monitoring and portfolio strategy reviews. These agents will analyze information across Modera's technology infrastructure, identify opportunities, evaluate financial scenarios and execute authorized tasks subject to human approval. Recognizing the importance of data quality and security, Modera is establishing a working group to validate information used by the platform and implementing controls that restrict AI agents' access to authorized data. McCuine emphasized that Mira is intended to enhance rather than replace advisors' professional judgment. The firm also expects the platform to facilitate its acquisition strategy by helping newly acquired advisory businesses consolidate their information and workflows within a common technology infrastructure.
Mira's introduction reflects a broader shift in wealth management toward enterprise-wide AI operating platforms rather than isolated generative AI applications. Modera joins other large RIAs investing in proprietary technology, including Connecticut Wealth Management, which partnered with Subatomic to develop an AI operating system, and Mercer Global Advisors, which introduced the second generation of its Aspen operating platform in July. Modera executives believe that integrating AI directly into advisory operations can address a longstanding industry productivity challenge: A 2025 Fidelity study found that financial advisors spend an average of just 41% of their time with clients and prospects. By automating administrative responsibilities and connecting previously fragmented systems, Mira could enable advisors to devote more attention to client relationships, referrals and business development. The initiative also illustrates how larger wealth management firms are seeking competitive advantages through proprietary AI infrastructure, although its ultimate success will depend on data reliability, effective governance, advisor adoption and measurable productivity improvements.
Mili
Mili, an AI platform for wealth management firms, and Egnyte, a leader in secure content collaboration, intelligence, and governance, today announced a partnership that brings Mili's AI agents to client documents in Egnyte. Advisors work from a file or a whole client folder alongside data from the firm's CRM, portfolio and planning systems, under each advisor's Egnyte permissions.
Kitces Research finds that reviewing client documents is the most common way advisors use AI. Its productivity research puts a new financial plan at 15 to 40 hours of team time.
Advisors use Mili's agents to model the tax cost of moving a client's accounts into the firm's strategy, weigh a rebalance against unrealized gains, summarize a bonus agreement and build a financial snapshot from a statement. The agents link answers to their sources and flag what an analysis may still need.
Outmarket AI
Outmarket AI, the leading AI platform purpose-built for insurance, today launched Outmarket Lite, a new self-serve offering that lets any agency or team put Outmarket's AI to work the same day. Outmarket Lite brings the core AI workflows of Outmarket’s flagship platform to smaller agencies, including proposals, quote and policy comparisons, policy reviews, coverage gap analysis, ACORD forms and benefits plan comparisons. These are the same workflows already trusted by more than 300 agencies, including over a quarter of the nation’s Top 100.
Outmarket Lite enables agencies to sign up online and start working right away. As usage expands, teams can move to Outmarket Enterprise, the company’s flagship platform, without changing tools.
Until now, AI built for insurance has largely been designed for large brokerages with enterprise contracts and lengthy implementations. That has left many agencies, who face the same manual workload with far fewer hands, without a practical way to adopt it, even as pressure grows across the industry to deliver faster without sacrificing accuracy. Outmarket Lite removes those barriers. Now every agency can get the same core capabilities that Top 100 agencies use to reclaim hours each week from manual work, reduce errors and omissions risk, accelerate growth, and enhance client service.
Patra
Patra, which operates one of the insurance industry’s largest production-grade agentic AI platforms, appointed Yousef Hashimi to the role of Head of Products and Client AI Transformation. In this newly created role, he will shape Patra’s agentic AI-led service offerings and accelerate clients’ adoption, helping them bridge their way to an AI-driven future with confidence and speed.
Hashimi brings nearly three decades of experience in fintech, financial services, big data, intelligent automation, and applied AI. Hashimi joins Patra from Lüt, a modern payments fintech, where he was Chief Product and Operating Officer. Before that, he held senior leadership roles at IBM and EY. At IBM, he helped pioneer early innovations in virtual agents and document intelligence, and played a key role in commercializing IBM Watson. At EY, he led applied AI for the insurance sector, delivering AI-powered underwriting, claims, actuarial, and customer service solutions that helped clients modernize operations.
Hashimi has a proven track record of helping enterprises design, build, and adopt cutting-edge solutions that reshape operations and unlock new value. He launched IBM’s first cognitive consulting practice, and at Lüt, led product development, delivering three new payment products that enabled new revenue streams.

The expansion follows growing customer demand across Asia-Pacific. Establishing a permanent presence in Sydney will enable Quantifind to deepen its support for financial institutions across Australia, while using the market as a platform for broader Asia-Pacific growth.
The Sydney office is a key milestone in the international expansion announced following Quantifind's $200 million growth investment led by Summit Partners, with participation from Citi Ventures, S&P Global, Deloitte, and Stephens Group. That investment identified Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas as strategic priorities.

At the center of this expansion is iLEVEL, S&P Global's private markets platform for portfolio monitoring, valuations, reporting and data management. Schwab
Syntax, a New York-based fintech company pioneering economic data intelligence and next-generation index technologies, today announced a deep technology integration with Schwab Advisor Services™, connecting Syntax Direct℠, Syntax’s index development and production engine, directly to iRebal, Schwab’s rebalancing platform.
The two platforms provide a complete end-to-end solution that incorporates index creation, index calculation, model management, trading and tax management support to registered investment advisors.
This integration eliminates the manual handoff that has historically separated index design from portfolio implementation. iRebal users can access Syntax Direct through single sign-on to build custom indices, which now flow into iRebal through an API integration. There, the indices serve as model portfolios that can be rebalanced, tax-managed, and personalized down to the individual account and fractional share.
Scienaptic AI
Scienaptic AI, a global leader in AI powered credit decisioning technology, today announced that Diversified Members Credit Union has selected its platform to enhance origination fraud and anomaly detection to tackle the challenges of identity theft and synthetic identity fraud.
With the help of the Scienaptic AI platform, Diversified Members Credit Union aims to deploy a deeply integrated fraud detection and loan underwriting engine. This integrated engine aggregates multiple data sources and leverages cutting-edge machine learning and anomaly detection algorithms to create a powerful signal to detect fraud. Early detection of fraud is already yielding significant savings in fraud losses for Scienaptic clients.
Smarsh
Smarsh, the global leader in communications data and intelligence, today announced new and expanded capabilities across Professional Archive, Web Archive, Cyber Compliance, and Vendor Risk Management, including capture support for Claude Cowork within Professional Archive.
The expansion comes as communications channels multiply, AI adoption accelerates, and cyber and third-party risks grow more complex. As digital activity grows and regulatory demands evolve, financial services firms must identify meaningful risk sooner, respond consistently, and maintain clear evidence of effective oversight.
This challenge is especially acute for small and mid-sized firms, operating with lean compliance and risk teams, yet facing many of the same regulatory expectations as larger institutions. For these firms, the stakes, and the need for stronger oversight, have never been higher.
SoFi
SoFi (NASDAQ: SOFI) and Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE: PRU) are joining forces to provide over 15 million SoFi members the ability to purchase Prudential term life insurance directly within the SoFi app.
Through a fully digital experience built and operated by SoFi, members can explore Prudential’s SimplyTerm life insurance, receive an instant quote, and apply for and purchase coverage in one place. Available through the SoFi app, the embedded experience streamlines the application process and reduces redundant data entry, with eligible members often able to obtain coverage in minutes without a medical exam or lab work.
This is the latest example of Prudential Individual Life Insurance’s ongoing efforts to help close the protection gap by reaching people where cost and complexity have long kept them from getting the coverage they need. A recent report by LIMRA and Life Happens found that nearly 100 million Americans report being either uninsured or underinsured. Reaching more Americans is a priority for Prudential, and building coverage into a platform that is closer to where the customer transacts, like the SoFi app, is one example of that work.
Tandems
Tandems, an AI-native wealth operating system for financial advisors, today announced the launch of Hamilton, a new AI assistant that can handle up to 80% of a financial advisor’s daily tasks. Hamilton plugs natively into the majority of core systems that its customers use across banking and wealth, unlocks dozens of tools Tandems has custom-built for advisors, and runs on proprietary verticalized AI built on a multi-model architecture. Its Model Harness Optimizer draws on the best capabilities of Claude by Anthropic, OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini. The result is an assistant with an intuitive understanding of the work financial advisors are expected to do every day. Tandems was founded in 2006, and Hamilton is built from the knowledge it has gained over decades studying the workflow of the more than 5,000 advisors at major financial institutions like Wells Fargo, Scotiabank, Citizens and New York Life who use its platform. Hamilton leverages this deep domain knowledge, understanding the time in an advisor’s day taken up by a multitude of repetitive tasks across legacy systems. It is specifically trained on this work, with a user experience designed for how advisors operate, and going deeper into an advisor’s workflow than competing tools that have largely focused on simple tasks like note taking. It is capable of handling everything from complex, higher-risk workflows around financial planning and portfolio rebalancing through to time consuming client reviews, meeting preparation, proactive client communication, account opening, asset transfer, and paperwork.
Tandems’ large institutional clients are looking to empower their advisors with modern tools while relying on critical legacy systems in their day-to-day business. Tandems’ platform has been pre-integrated with the major core systems its enterprise clients rely on every day: brokerage (including Schwab, Fidelity, National Financial and Pershing), banking (including FIS and Fiserv), CRM (including Salesforce), and productivity and workflow (Microsoft, Google, Docusign and others). This allows Tandems to integrate and launch with clients in weeks, with minimal client lift, so they see the benefit of tools like Hamilton much faster.
TD Bank
TD Bank U.S. today unveiled TD Credit Assist, an AI capability that reduces the time required to prepare a first-draft commercial credit analysis from up to three working days to less than 30 minutes. Credit Assist brings together information from complex documents to create a structured, cited draft of six key credit memo sections for review and underwriting by TD's more than 300 credit professionals who prepare more than 10,000 credit memos annually. By reducing the administrative work involved in preparing a first draft, Credit Assist gives credit professionals more time to understand each client’s business, assess risk and engage with clients throughout the credit review.
Unveiled at the 2026 Evident AI Symposium in New York, Credit Assist demonstrates how TD is moving AI from experimentation into practical applications with measurable business value. The launch follows TD’s three-place rise to No. 10 in the 2026 Evident AI Index, which evaluates the AI maturity of 50 of the world’s largest banks.
A single credit review can involve 20 to 30 deal documents spanning more than 50 document types. Credit Assist uses an orchestration layer to coordinate specialized AI agents to process, extract, analyze and organize the information and develop multiple sections with a cited narrative in parallel, with each section undergoing its own process of analysis, review and refinement. Instead of beginning with a blank page, credit professionals receive a cited draft they can question, verify and refine.
Tipalti
Tipalti, the agentic AI platform for finance, today announced Tipalti AP Agent, a next-generation AI agent designed to manage the entire accounts payable (AP) process while giving finance teams complete control over how work gets done. AP Agent brings together intelligent automation, business-specific context, and human oversight to reduce manual work and help finance teams focus on exceptions and higher-value decisions. Tipalti also introduced new Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities, enabling businesses to securely connect live financial data from Tipalti with enterprise AI tools, such as Claude Enterprise.
AP Agent is the next evolution of Tipalti’s specialized AI agents, introduced in 2025, extending automation beyond individual tasks to coordinate and execute entire workflows. As organizations increasingly look to AI to improve productivity, the question is no longer just what AI can automate, but how much responsibility they are comfortable giving it. Built around trust, control, and transparency, AP Agent gives finance teams the flexibility to adopt greater autonomy at a pace that aligns with their readiness and risk tolerance.
Tipalti AP Agent brings intelligent orchestration to the AP lifecycle, connecting invoice capture, coding, approvals, payments, and reconciliation into a continuous workflow. By reducing manual intervention and streamlining complex processes, AP Agent enables finance teams to spend less time managing transactions and more time exercising judgment and supporting higher-value business priorities.
Upstart
MIT Federal Credit Union (MIT FCU), a full-service, Massachusetts-based credit union serving over 35,000 members, today announced the recent expansion of its partnership with Upstart (NASDAQ: UPST), the leading artificial intelligence (AI) lending marketplace, into indirect auto lending.
The expanded relationship builds on MIT FCU's personal lending partnership with Upstart, which began in 2024. Through the expansion, MIT FCU is diversifying its lending strategy and adding a secured product to serve members across more borrowing needs.
Veraify
Veraify today added comprehensive token management capabilities to its AI-native security platform to help enterprises gain more visibility into their token usage and manage token costs. With Token Management, Veraify customers now get deeper insights into how, where, and who is consuming AI tokens and driving up AI costs. Unlike other token usage visibility tools in the market Veraify provides comprehensive support across all AI tools, whether or not the enterprise knows about or approves them, including Shadow AI and enterprise-approved tools in the same report.
AI tokens are the currency of the AI industry, determining how much AI usage costs each enterprise. As AI usage increases, AI bills have become a significant concern for CFOs. Goldman Sachs estimates that token consumption will multiply 24-fold to 120 quadrillion tokens per month between 2026 and 2030. With multiple AI tools in use across the enterprise, including both approved and shadow AI, token costs can often come as an unwelcome surprise.
Veraify Token Management helps both functional leaders and CFOs to analyze their existing spend at a per-department level, per AI service level, and at user level. Veraify can provide token usage insights across Shadow AI, enterprise-approved AI, and different types of AI tools (native app, plugin, IDE/API/CLI and browser-based).
Zeplyn
Zeplyn, the agentic AI operating system for wealth management, today introduced Zeplyn Workflows. The new capability turns firms’ operating playbooks into multi-step processes Zeplyn executes across systems and departments, following each firm’s rules, requirements, and approval standards.
Built on the platform’s orchestration engine, Zeplyn Agent Nexus, Workflows extends Zeplyn into middle- and back-office operations, including advisor transitions, client onboarding, account opening, and more. Each workflow maintains its owner, status, and activity history as work moves through handoffs, waits for information, or pauses for approval, coordinating the full process from beginning to end.
Unlike traditional automation, which repeats predefined steps and relies on people to resolve unfamiliar situations, Zeplyn’s agentic workflows bring judgment into the process. Its AI agents interpret information and determine appropriate next steps within defined boundaries, while deterministic actions apply fixed rules, validate data, and update systems. At firm-defined approval points, the workflow pauses for review by a designated person before continuing.
Zocks
Zocks, the privacy-first AI platform for financial services, today announced a relationship with LPL Financial (‘LPL’), one of the nation’s leading wealth management firms and a leading provider of investment and business solutions to financial advisors. Zocks is now available to LPL’s network of more than 32,000 financial advisors and approximately 1,100 financial institutions.
LPL advisors can now automate a wide range of administrative and operational processes with Zocks. They can capture data and context from conversations, then sync that information across LPL’s WealthVision Premium financial planning tool and with their connected CRM. By eliminating hours of routine data entry, advisors can build and update financial plans faster, including tax and estate strategies, and dedicate more time to strengthening client relationships.
LPL advisors can also prepare for a client meeting with a personalized summary that automatically includes recent notes and information pulled from past conversations, and other connected systems. Post-meeting summaries, action items, and emails are drafted in seconds, so advisors can follow up while momentum is strong.
Zocks
Zocks, the privacy-first AI platform for financial services, today announced a partnership with Founders Financial Securities, LLC, one of the nation's leading privately held independent broker-dealers and RIA firms. Zocks is now part of the TRU Enterprise OS technology stack, available to all Founders’ Member Partners across its nationwide community. Alongside the Zocks team, Founders has partnered with each Member Partner on its adoption, use, best practices, and workflows to empower its advisors to scale and grow their enterprises.
With Zocks automating time-consuming administrative work across the business, from meeting notes and manual data entry to onboarding new clients, advisors at Founders can focus on serving clients and growing the relationships at the center of their practices.
Zocks stood out for the depth of its integrations and its ability to work seamlessly with Founders’ existing technology stack. Zocks automatically captures details and context from client conversations, turns them into structured data, and syncs that data across supported CRM, portfolio management, and planning tools, including Redtail, Wealthbox, Salesforce, Orion, and PreciseFP, as well as more than 370 fields in eMoney. Because Zocks also pulls data from those connected systems, Member Partner advisors at Founders now walk into each meeting with an up-to-date, comprehensive client summary. Afterward, their meeting notes, follow-up emails, and any forms are already populated with relevant details from both the conversation and connected systems, ready to review and send.
