Top 5 VC Deals of the Week in AI (11/4/26)

This week we continue our series on the top 5 VC-funded deals in AI.
This week our overall AI venture capital activity gained back some momentum from last week to come in line with recent weeks, with all five of our listed announcements coming in over $750 million and 13 announcements total coming in over $100 million.
The biggest announcement, per FinSMEs, came from San Francisco-based fal, an AI infrastructure provider, which raised $1.3 billion in a Series F to "scale its inference infrastructure, grow its team, and advance its generative media technology through research and new development initiatives throughout 2027," according to its announcement. Our second-place announcement was from South Korean AI infrastructure provider FuriosaAI, which raised $620 million in a Series D to "expand RNGD production, strengthen its software ecosystem, and accelerate development of its third-generation AI accelerator," according to its announcement. Rounding out the top 5 are announcements from the fintech and AI development spaces.
Smaller funding raises that did not quite make our top 5 this week included announcements from the agentic security, AI infrastructure, and enterprise AI sectors.
